ROVI has renewed its ‘Excellent’ rating in the Profarma 2021-2022 Programme for Promoting Competitiveness in the pharmaceutical industry, awarded by the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism.

This programme classifies and rates companies in a series of groups and categories (Excellent, Very Good, Good and Acceptable) according to their excellence in different industrial, economic and research, development and innovation aspects.

The aim is to favour the competitiveness of the sector by boosting activities that provide greater added value, such as investment in new plants and new production technologies, promoting R&D&I.

ROVI receives the award for “Best Shareholder Service by a Listed Company” at Rankia’s 20th anniversary. The event was held at the Círculo de Bellas Artes in Madrid and recognised the most outstanding entities and personalities in the financial world.

With this award, ROVI ratifies its commitment to assertive, direct and transparent communication with its shareholders. The award was collected by Marta Campos Martínez and Beatriz de Zavala, head and member of the Investor Relations department, who congratulated the other winning companies and the Rankia management team for their 20 years working for financial communication.

The inscription period for the XXII edition of the Descent of the Sella of the Fundación También is open. During the 28th, 29th and 30th of July you will be able to enjoy this unique activity with your colleagues.

Requirements to participate

The activity focuses on accompanying a person with disabilities (motor, visual…) along 15 km on a canoe trip down the Sella. For this reason, participants will be asked to have basic knowledge and experience in canoeing.

The final selection of volunteers will come from the hand of the foundation, according to the needs it has to accompany its members.

This past Sunday 11th June, our colleagues were able to visit the ROVI Forest with their families. Under the supervision of Retree monitors, they were able to carry out maintenance work in the forest, such as creating hotels for insects, planting fern seeds and watering the trees with hydrogel.

The ROVI Forest is a project to offset CO2 emissions that we have not been able to avoid or reduce in our productive work. In addition, thanks to the ROVI Forest, we are helping to reforest Robledillo de la Jara, promoting rural employment and reducing water consumption.

World Recycling Day is celebrated on May 17 with the aim of raising society’s awareness of the importance of treating waste properly, so as not to contribute to climate change and thus protect the environment.

ROVI, being aware that the generation of waste is an inherent element of the activity it carries out, reaffirms its commitment to minimize the negative impact on the environment through proper waste management.

Always through authorized waste managers, ROVI recycled 15% of the non-hazardous waste generated in 2022, 546 tons, which is equivalent to the waste generated by 1100 people annually1. The types of waste recycled are paper, cardboard and plastic trays and grids (polypropylene and polystyrene) from syringes and vials.

At the same time, responsible waste management guidelines are also promoted among employees, and their efforts contribute to the achievement of the Responsible Production and Consumption objective of the SDGs of the Global Plan, which ROVI is part of and implements within its production chain.

Laboratorios Farmacéuticos ROVI today presented its financial results for the first quarter of 2023.
